As good as it sounds in order for something to become new the former has to go through changes. No matter how big or small, major or minor the changes are necessary. Another phrase we hear often is to leave the previous years memories , milestones, wins, and failures behind us . However, I believe reflecting and taking those life lessons we’ve learned is essential to growth. Unveil’s slogan is to live in your truth. It’s imperative to reflect on what makes or has made you who you are and if you’re wanting to change or maintain areas in your life that need work and commitment.

In 2021 we’re unveiling not only the beauty but the ugly. Not only our truths but the journey of how we got there.

Sometimes we need to assess and reflect. We have to be still and quiet enough to not only pose important questions as to what will I accomplish this year, what areas of my life need to heal, where can I serve or be more committed? We have to sit still long enough to hear what God is saying to us and what direction he is taking us. Trust his word and redirection. Embrace changes. Enjoy the journey. We have to trust that we aren’t alone and be intentional about pursuing a whole and healthy life. Being intentional, setting boundaries, and having designated places you can go to reflect and build rids you of distractions, overwhelming feelings and emotions and even busyness that comes with our everyday lives. This is the time to fast, pray, and seek God about your next assignment or new level that he’ll bring about this year . Personally, I am more concerned about what’s new and what’s next that’ll help shape me into the woman he created me to be and how it can be used for his glory.

I’m aware new levels and new doors bring about new warfare, fears, and even disappointments but remember the mission and why the enemy may be fighting you so much in this moment. You must have something valuable, earth shaking, life changing to make the enemy want to rob you of what God has given you and promised you. The moments can’t override the mission. This year fight differently.

Use the little faith and strength you have to defeat the enemy, your own self doubts and fears, the hurts and trauma that paralyzes us and prevents us from living our best lives. This year is not just new. But it’s for your new strength, liberty, and faith .[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
